Submission of abstracts will be acknowledged by email within 4 weeks of receipt.
Abstract selection criteria
The Conference Committee will attempt to accommodate the preferred presentation type for all delegates. The number of oral presentations (12–15 minutes duration) that can be accommodated in the program will be limited. We therefore encourage delegates to select other modes of presentation.
The criteria used to assess abstracts may include:
- relevance to the topics of the conference
- originality and interest
- compliance with the word count and format requirements for abstracts (see below).
Note: To ensure a maximum number of presenters, the Conference Committee may limit presentations to one per person.
Proceedings
Presenters will be invited to provide their presentation for inclusion in the conference proceedings. More details will be provided closer to the conference. The onus will be on presenters to ensure all copyright legislation is complied within using imagery or work of any artists in their presentation. After the conference the proceedings will be published and available for sale. EcoArts has agreed with Cambridge Scholars Publishing that they will publish the proceedings of the Conference, subject to a book proposal being accepted.
Registration
All participants of the EcoArts Australis 3rd National Conference, including delegates, speakers, sponsors and industry representatives, must fill in the registration form.
